Dr. Kirstin Risse is a graduate from the University of Kentucky. She was granted the Wright Scholarship to attend UKCD. She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Risse has made a significant commitment to continuing education in all phases of dentistry through attending the annual Hinman and Academy of General Dentistry meetings each year. Over the years, she has extensive experience in restoring dental implants, ClearCorrect braces, childrens dentistry (pedodontics), as well as, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Risse is certified in Botox and Juvederm, and she is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and Northern District Dental Society.
Dr. Risse was raised in Dunwoody and graduated from Dunwoody High School. She is happily married to her husband, Matt. She has 3 children, Patrick, Jack and Sam, as well as an Australian Shepherd, Shadow and a mut, Jozy. Patrick is a student at UGA, Jack and Sam are students at Centennial High School. Dr. Risse and her husband are very involved volunteering at Centennial. They are members at St. Brigid Catholic Church, even attending there when it was in the gym at the school. In her free time, Dr. Risse enjoys running, playing tennis, golfing and endless hours at the lake.
