Dr. Kirstin Risse is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. She was granted the Wright Scholarship to attend UKCD. She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Risse has made a significant commitment to continuing education in all phases of dentistry through attending the annual Hinman and Academy of General Dentistry meetings each year. Over the years, she has extensive experience in restoring dental implants, ClearCorrect braces, children's dentistry (pedodontics), as well as, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Risse was raised in Dunwoody and graduated from Dunwoody High School. She is happily married to her husband, Matt. She has three children, Patrick, Jack, and Sam, as well as an Australian Shepherd named Shadow and a mutt named Jozy. Patrick is a student at UGA, and Jack and Sam are students at Centennial High School. Dr. Risse and her husband are very involved volunteering at Centennial. They are members at St. Brigid Catholic Church, even attending there when it was in the gym at the school. In her free time, Dr. Risse enjoys running, spending time with her dogs, playing tennis, golfing and endless hours at the lake.
